String Quartet

The Covent Garden String Quartet is a London based group, available for hire, to add a touch of elegance to your event, wedding, civil partnership, or any other special celebration.

They are fully qualified professional musicians and have many years' experience playing at a wide range of events and venues in London, Kent, Surrey and around the South East. We specialize in providing music for wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships, parties, anniversaries, charity benefits and corporate events.

They have performed at many prestigious venues such as Kensington Palace, Blenheim Palace, Hampton Court, The Tate Gallery, The Natural History Museum, Tower Bridge, and top London hotels including Claridges, the Savoy and the Lanesborough. The quartet has had residencies in Sardinia, Norway and Morocco and have also played on boats, barns and even on Blackpool pier.

The string quartet's extensive live music experience includes recording for pop artists such as Kylie Minogue and Nick Cave for MTV, film soundtracks and many appearances as backing strings on ITV and the BBC - for example, GMTV, the National Lottery.

We utilise the services of a professional steel band company of steel pan (steel drum) playing musicians available to hire for events. Consequently, we deliver premium, bespoke virtual or live performances to events held in London, the UK and internationally.  Their goal is to to entertain and also transport their audience’s imaginations to a beautiful Caribbean beach and an exciting Caribbean carnival!

These guys are vastly experienced and ideal for any Summer Themed Event or special occasion.  

Showgirls

Add sparkle and glamour to your event with our Showgirls, Showboys and Burlesque dancers! We provide first class entertainment for all occasions with some of our credits including Ant & Decs Saturday Night Takeaway & Big Brother. Our showgirls will bring a touch of Vegas to your function and our burlesque dancers will add you some cheeky Moulin Rouge pizazz!  Shows are professionally choreographed by award winning founder and choreographer Keri Graham who was recently featured on Britain's Got Talent.

Available for Meet & Greet services & / or a full evenings entertainment with breath taking professionally choreographed shows. 

Piper - Andy MacGregor

Our first choice for any Bagpipe Engagements is Andrew MacGregor. based in Essex,

The list of events here are not exhaustive, but give an overview of what events he can do: On November the 11th 2018 at 6am, along with over 3500 Solo Pipers right around the World the Retreat Air The Battles O’er to commemorate the Signing of Yhe Armistice 100 years ago to end World War 1 and to remember all those who lost their lives a most moving experience and a great honour.

In September 2019 he had the great privilege of playing at The Battle of Britain Memorial at Capel-Le-Fearne near Folkestone a most moving experience as he had Family members and friends who were directly involved in the battle.

He is Available for; Birthdays - Weddings - Funerals - Burn's Night - St Andrew's Day - Hogmanay - Corporate Events - St Patrick's Day and other Irish occasions (in Irish Dress) He performs in full Highland dress, Irish dress and No.1 Dress - the choice is at your request. He always provide ample Photo opportunities at Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversary ‘s . Special Occasions Corporate Events and will always Propose The Traditional Gaelic Toast ( With his Quaich) to the Newly Weds. Meet N Greet

When it comes to making an impression at your event whether it be a Wedding, Corporate or special occasion, there is no better way than being greeted by some characters who really will set the tone for the event. Characters like Harry Enfield & Chums (and there is plenty to choose from ... Tory Boy, Kevin the Teenager with his mate Perry, The Scousers), or if you prefer you could have characters from Little Britain, alternatively it could be Simon Cowell, Borat, Ali G, Keith Lemon with many more to choose from.

We even have 2 Grannies  - Doris & Ethel who get up to all sorts of Mischief. If you wan something different to enhance your event ,this idea of a Meet n Greet Artiste is the answer.

Close Up Magic / Table Magic 

Amazing and Amusing Close-up Magic ‘Table hopping’ entertainment, ideal for restaurants, dinner/dances, wine bars, weddings, bar/bat mitzvah celebrations, private parties etc. or with a credible commercial slant for corporate functions and business promotions. 

Presented with a touch of subtle (if sometimes naughty) humour and a professional attitude.

Casino Nights by Casino Royale

The Casino Royale Team provide the complete Casino experience, with experienced Croupiers, Very high spec gaming tables giving you the feel of being in a real Casino enviroment

Croupiers can be dressed to suit the ambience of the occasion from Black Tie, Casual, to Santa outfits at Xmas. Tables available include, Roulette, Blackjack, Poker and Crepes. The Casino Manager makes a point of contacting you first to go through everything beforehand, discussing the amount of Chips per person, whether there will be any funds set aside for any fund raising and the Prize Giving ceremony.

This really is a very fun evening and can be enhanced with a theme ie; Las Vegas  - could include Elvis Trib with Showgirls or a James Bond Theme which could include Shirley Bassey.

This can be adapted from 2 tables up to as many as required.

Childrens Meet n Greet
Event / Doorstep Characters

These characters are ideal for Holiday Parks, Birthdays, Surprise Doorstep Visits, Festive occasions and everything in between. Many Characters to choose from

who always bring a little present for the lucky person celebrating.

Ventriloquist - Emily Brown & Friends

Emily Brown is a highly experienced performer with over 25yrs in showbusiness.

She has won 3 national awards for her singing and combines that perfectly with her skill as a ventriloquist.

She uses professional puppets which have an impact as soon as she brings them onto the stage,
She has been coached by one of the top coaches in America, Gary Owen who coaches many of the states top vents.

Her vent act features her singing through her puppets, inc classical music, Frank Sinatra, Elvis and Country+Western, also comedy. Her comedy is gentle and suited to a family audience and she also includes a section of her show with audience participation where she invites a member of the audience to join her on stage to be her ‘puppet’

Michaela  - Fire Dancer & Themed Stilt Walker

For entertainment that REALLY stands out from the crowd, our Fire Dancer will blow your guests away. This is really “can’t miss” entertainment. which strives to go above and beyond our clients expectations..  Michaela will wow you with Flame Fans and many other tricks with Fire which will leave you spellbound.

 

Stilt Walking is a unique Circus Skill that enables Stilt Walker performers to really stand out in a crowd! In the events industry, we use Stilt Walkers for Meet and Greet Entertainment, Walkabout Entertainment, Street Parades and more to engage and interact with guests or our events. We have a huge catalogue of bespoke Stilt Walking entertainment and the possible themes our stilt walkers can adhere to is endless!.

Michaela can combine the two which is an ideal package to enhance any outdoor or corporate event.

Go Race Night's

 

Our Race Night compares provide the whole package and charge a set fee and not a percentage of the takings. 

What they provide is the following ; 

​

  • Eight races from a large selection

  • Printed Race cards

  • Tote tickets

  • Game of ‘last person standing’ (heads or tails, stand up bingo etc.)

  • Projector and Projector Screen

  • 2 speaker PA sound system

  • MC services for the whole night

  • Calculation of the tote winnings for each race

  • Detailed breakdown, post the event, of how the money was raised on the night

  • Full training to the volunteers (up to 4 needed for the tote desk)

  • Public Liability cover up to £1million

  • Our Race Nights conform to The Gambling Act 2005 (as long as they are run as a non-commercial event)

  • A fun and exciting evening!

How is the money raised?

 

The Race

For each race, the takings from the tote are split between the winners and the fund raiser. Usually this split is 50/50, so for example; if £100 is taken in bets then £50 will be split between the winning ticket holders and £50 to the fund-raiser.

​

Ticket Entry

Charging for entrance to the night can really help towards your fundraising target, even covering your overheads before the night begins. In our experience most people are happy to spend up to £5 for a ticket. 100 people quickly translates into £500 raised!

Race Sponsors

Consider finding sponsors for your races prior to the night. The sponsors name will be advertised on the Race Card, complimented with various announcements over the night. If you can get sponsors to pay up to £25 for a race then this will raise up to £200.

​

Name a Horse and be a Jockey

Great for those unable to attend the night but would love to contribute somehow. Prior to the evening, for £2 get your friends or colleagues to buy a horse and name it and for a further £2 they can be the named jockey. The horse name, owner and jockey will appear on the Race Card and if their horse wins, they will win a prize. With 64 horses to sell, this can raise up to an additional £256 (less costs for prizes).

Double Card / Tote Trio Forecast

To run on the night, race-goers can bet on who will finish 1st and 2nd in order, or the first 3 horses past the post.

 

Last Race Auction

An exciting way to draw the event to a close with the horses being auctioned off to the highest bidders.

 

Raffle

Self-explanatory! Who doesn’t love hearing their winning ticket number called.

How much will your Race Night raise?

This is obviously dependent on how many race-goers you get to come along to your event and of course whether any of the pre-event selling (horse / race sponsors etc.) can be done beforehand. It is not uncommon to raise over £1000 (after overheads) for over 100 people; and of course our compere will help you all the way before the night and during the night to make your evening a great success.
